School Christmas Party

Ava's school had a little Christmas concert, a book exchange, and party. Ava did a good job singing her songs. The class "performance" is a little chaotic, lol!!  She enjoyed getting a Bubble Guppies book and loved all her snacks.   I finally also got a picture of her and her teacher.

Christmas Part 3

After lunch we were off to Missouri for our last Christmas gathering.  Of course Ava had fun opening gifts.  She was also really excited to see Grandma, Papaw, and Gavin.

Playing Paw Patrol

My sister and her boyfriend

The goldfish game was a hit with Gavin too!

Christmas Part 2

Part 2 was Christmas in Nebraska. Ava was a little confused when we arrived and there were gifts under the tree, she thought she was going to get to open them right away!  Ava had fun playing with Uncle Rich, Aunt Kate, and Jemma.  The next morning we opened gifts and then had lunch.  We ate roast beef, but we told Ava it was "Roast Beast."  (from the Grinch that stole Christmas).  Ava must have watched the Grinch 20 times from the time we recorded it.  She'll try anything you call roast beast!

Rich checking out his gun case from Santa!

Ava really loved these magnetic tiles

Money fries!

Ava enjoyed her bead set

Pretty dress from Grandma

Annual Family Santa Hat pic.

One gift Ava liked was her drum sticks.  She used them for drums, a telescope, magic wand, microphone, baton, and a sword!

Christmas Part 1

Christmas morning was really fun this year.  One of my favorite moments was when Ava came down the steps and gasped, "Oh my gosh...is that for me??" (Video below)

Rudolf came and ate his food.  He had some giant hoofs!

Santa ate his cookies

Ava loved opening gifts this year.  She loved it so much she pretty much opened up our presents too!  She kept asking, "Where's my name??"  It was also funny, after almost every gift she'd ask us, "Can you open it?"

She got a mix of stuff.  Games, Princesses, Ninja Turtles, clothes, etc.

Leo cracks me up, he had fun with the wrapping paper and boxes.  He seemed to be by Ava's side at all times, lol.

The Goldfish game was a huge hit!  She took it with her for the car ride to Nebraska and played it for 40 minutes of the 2 1/2 hour drive!  It was a clanky ride, but at least it kept her attention.

Leo was very intrigued with Fur-Real Pup.

Another favorite was Ava's scooter!

Christmas Eve Eve

We started our Christmas festivities a day early since we were traveling. This year we left out the reindeer food and cookies/milk for Santa. Ava was excited to leave out the reindeer food. Time slipped away and I didn't get around to baking fresh cookies for Santa. So we just ran across the street and got cookies and milk from Subway!

Breakfast with Santa

Our church had a Breakfast with Santa event.  At first Ava was a little hesitant to go up to Santa, but once he started talking to her she was all about it.  This was our 5th and final visit with Santa this year!  We also enjoyed some yummy pancakes, eggs, cinnamon rolls, and biscuits and gravy.

Gingerbread House

I got one of those gingerbread house kits for Ava and I to do. It was a fun project, although the icing is a little difficult to work with. It also seemed for every candy Ava put on the house she also popped on in her mouth! All in all,  I thought it turned out pretty cute. Ava proudly displayed in on the kitchen counter.
