TGIF!!

Thank goodness Friday is here! I wen't home for lunch and it took everything I had to come back and finish out the day.

I'm so excited because this weekend my sisters and I are going to Schlitterbahn and we are also going to have a picnic lunch!

As kids we spent our summer days swimming at the local community center. Now, even as adults, we always arrange a sisters outing to the water park each summer. Hopefully I'll get some pics up later this weekend.

Summertime Musicals

Friday night my friend and I saw a fantastic performance of Dream Girls at Starlight Theater! It was H O T out, but the show was worth it. Best of all, my friend got our tickets for 50% off with her military discount. Can't beat that! I recommend the show if it's in your area.

Scary Storm

We had one super crazy scary storm blow through yesterday. Normally I'm a big chicken when ever the wind picks up. This storm had me running to the basement. Just so you know I'm not over exaggerating, take a look at the neighbors yard!

That's a heavy duty swing set blown to the ground.

This is their mangled trampoline which I personally saw lift off the ground and hit the back of their house!

I was so glad when that storm ended.

Thanks to Jonathan telling me I needed I hobby I've discovered my love for entertaining. Last August I set a goal to have a party each month for a year. I actually did it! Here's the year in review.

Pizza and Movie Night

Friday I hosted "Make Your Own" Pizza & Movie Night. It was lots of fun. Everyone enjoyed creating their own pizza. It wasn't my most crafty party, but here are a few pics.

All of the toppings. There was enough to make Spinach & Mushroom, Pepperoni, Cheese, Supreme, and Sausage Tomato Basil! I used pre-made personal pizza crusts to make things easier. Oh, and don't forget the chocolate pizza for dessert!

Next months party is my birthday! We're having a Luau plus my husband is hosting a UFC fight. So I'm inviting the guys as well.

Oh Savannah!

I'm so excited! My little sister and I will be traveling to Savannah, GA for Labor Day weekend. I can't wait for a weekend of sightseeing, antiquing, afternoon tea, and the beach!
