Dance Birthday

We had fun celebrating with Jaiden for her 4th Birthday.  It was a Hello Kitty dance party.  A little tumbling, a dance lesson, and of course yummy snacks.  Ava followed directions well with the dance lesson and I was surprised how well she did on the sack jump!

1/2 Birthday

Avalyn, you were beyond excited to celebrate your 1/2 birthday (a little tradition Grandma D started). You let everyone know it was "your birthday", and we had to tell everyone it was your 1/2 birthday. You were still talking about it days later.  When we ask you how old you are now, you proudly proclaim "THREE and a HALF!"

Ava had fun at her Valentines party.  They had snacks and exchanged cards.

Photo Contests

Ava has won a couple photo contests lately.  One was a summer photo contest, which they just announced the winner.  The other was a Christmas photo contest.

Park

We've had some strange weather lately. Highs of 60's and 70's isn't typical for a Kansas winter.  So we took advantage of playing outside at the park and Ava enjoyed riding her scooter.

 

 

Pep Rally

I enrolled Ava in the sports program at school. So far she's done basketball, soccer, and cheer.  At the end of the last session (basketball and cheer) they had a little pep rally!  It was so cute.  I was really impressed how the coaches handled that large group of toddlers.

Ava did a nice job and of course was very enthusiastic!

Ava and Leo

Leo is pretty much the best cat we could have asked for (besides him meowing in the morning to wake us up!).  He loves Ava and follows her around all the time.  He's usually never far from her side.
