Wow, we had a wonderful trip to Savannah. It is such an amazing city. There is so much to see and do. We headed out around 10am and didn't return until 10pm each day. I'll have to break up our trip into several posts. Lets start with the accommodations!

The Gastonian

The Gastonian is a Regency-Italianate style mansion located in the historic district close to Forsyth Park. It was built in 1868. We had a delicious breakfast each morning. They also served afternoon tea and hors d'oeuvres, plus evening desserts and cordials.

Quick Weekend Recap

Jonathan and I traveled to Nebraska this past weekend. We were able to celebrate his dads birthday, and our nieces confirmation and first communion. It was great to see everyone and we had lots of fun. Lots of GOOD food too!!

Going To The...

My sisters and I stay a night at the Great Wolf Lodge this weekend. For those who don't know it's an indoor water park hotel with a wilderness lodge theme. We had a great time swimming, laying out, and we enjoyed some treatments at the spa! The resort is very kid friendly but we had fun as "big kids!"

To ME!!

Last year 30 was so “cool” but this year 31 is no big deal. No major plans or anything since I’m going to Savannah in a couple weeks. That’s my birthday present. At least it’s a nice day out and below 100 degrees! Plus, I did get these beauties delivered to work!! My frig is also covered in cards, which is one thing I look forward to each birthday (and Christmas!).
