Colorado - Royal Gorge

Avalyn, my mom, and I went on an extended weekend road trip to Colorado.  This was our first trip to Colorado and our first time seeing mountains!  Our first stop was the Royal Gorge, which is one of the deepest canyons in Colorado.  Sometimes it's referred to as the Grand Canyon of Colorado.  We walked the bridge and rode the gondolas. The bridge is one of the worlds highest suspension bridges. It was very quiet and peaceful, I felt like we had the place all to ourselves.  It was very pretty but also VERY COLD and windy!  It was interesting learning the history of the Gorge and how the park was rebuilt after the 2013 fire which destroyed 90% of the park.
