You are getting more independent. When we walk into a store, etc. you like us to hold your hand when we walk instead of carrying you. You are learning to take off your clothes. There have been mornings when we go get you are you are sitting in your diaper. You are now walking up and down the stairs instead of crawling (while holding the rail of course).
New words: Milk, juice, silly, papa, meow, up, Foofa (Yo Gabba Gabba), socks, shoes
Not only talking more but learning common questions like, “wheres your doll?” You are also in love with books. I find you sitting in a chair pointing at the pictures, “Cat Meow” “Dog woof.”
You like me to pretend I’m a dog and chase you. While holding you, you like to lean back until your hands reach the floor and do a backflip. You like to tickle people. You love me to turn you really fast, like a dancer. You have started singing with your toys and to your favorite cartoons.
You love to be the center of attention. You “perform” and then want everyone to clap for you. When we are done clapping you say, “Thank you!” It’s funny, like you are giving a speech because you won something!
You are still a Momma’s girl. Always at my legs.
Favorite toys – Loving books more, sidewalk chalk, talking Dora, moms cell phone, drum set
Fun things this month - First school field trip, playing outside, playdates, Mothers Day
Last funny story from this month. Dad went outside to grill and you locked him out! We didn’t realize you knew about the lever on the sliding glass door. You little sneaker. He had to walk around the house and go in through the garage.
That last picture is just precious! They are all adorable, but that last one especially...I love that she's such a performer!
