Hollywood Studios

Day 2 we spent a 1/2 day at Disneys Hollywood Studios

So cute in her Mickey ears!

Our first stop was the Frozen sing-a-long. It was "ok" in my opinion. The main characters really didn't come out until the end. I was surprised there wasn't more audience participation!

Ava loved the Disney Jr meet and greet. She got to see Sophia the First, Doc McStuffins, and Jake the Pirate. We almost skipped Jake and Im so glad we didn't because he was the most fun of them all! He danced with Avalyn!!

The Disney Jr show was really cute. It's a puppet show and it's highly interactive with the kids. It included sing-a-longs, dancing, bubbles, and confetti.

Stopped for a mid day treat!!

The Beauty and the Beast show was excellent! We all loved it.

Next we rode Toy Story Mania! It was one of the best rides at Disney World. It's a 4D carnival themed shooting game.

Afterwards we hit up the Buzz and Woody meet and greet.

Epcot

Our first park visit was to Epcot.

We got there right at rope drop and headed straight to see Joy and Sadness.

Next we went to ride Finding Nemo and checked out the aquarium. Ave loved the dolphins and manatees.

We went to Turtle Talk with Crush. It was the cutest show!! The kids all get to sit in front and I could hear Ava laughing the entire show!! Ava even got to talk to Crush. Instead of asking him a question she told him she was on vacation with her Mommy!!

Our next stop was the Character Spot. We got to see Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy.

After the characters we went to ride Figment and then headed to the World Showcase

April is the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot so they had some really pretty displays. Pretty amazing if you ask me!!

Mexico

We also rode a cute ride in Mexico called the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros. Think "It's a Small World" only Mexican themed.

China

In China Ava got to meet Mulan

In Germany there was a really neat miniature train

Ava got to meet Snow White in Germany. Snow White was one of the sweetest princesses we met. She even gave Avalyn a kiss!!

Morocco

In Morocco we got to see Jasmine and Aladdin

Japan

France

While at Epcot we had a meal with the princesses! Ava got to meet Belle, Cinderella, Mulan, Aurora, and Ariel.

This meal was our favorite food of the trip!

Disneys Port Orleans - Riverside

We stayed at the lovely Port Orleans Riverside resort. Our room was on the alligator bayou side and it gave us the feel of rural bayou regions of Southern Louisiana. The resort was moderately priced and I feel we got a lot for our money! A mix of sit down and fast food selections, several pools, fishing, nightly camp fire and movies under the stars, horse drawn carriage rides, boat rentals, bike rentals, playgrounds, and nightly piano music.

Ava loved swimming. I think she liked it almost as much as the parks!! The pool was large and it had a slide!

Each afternoon there was a kids party at the pool. They had fun events like "name that tune," hula-hoop contests, and beach ball blast. Here's Ava having fun with the giant beach ball. She really tried to keep up with those big kids!!

The resort also had cane pole fishing. We tried it one morning but no luck!!

Ava was amazed when I showed her this "magic bed" that pulled out of the wall. She was so excited to have her own special bed.

Yummy breakfast! Ava's favorites were the Mickey waffles and bacon!!

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Ava's Birth Mom treated her to some royal pampering at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. It was such a fun experience for Ava!! She felt like a true princesses. A "Fairy Godmother" did her hair, makeup, and nails. Ava was so excited when she sprinkled the wand over her head and said, "Bibbidi Bobbidi BOO." Ava also got to take home a tote that included a sash, makeup, nail polish, brush, and face gems (stickers).
