Great Wolf Lodge

My mom, sister, and I took the kids to The Great Wolf Lodge. They had a special to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters, so we only bought tickets to swim and didn't have to stay the night.

It took the kids a little bit to warm up because it's soo loud in there!

But once they got use to it they had a blast.  It was a quiet evening and we felt like we had the place almost to ourselves.

Gavin thought it was HILARIOUS to dump the water on his moms head.  Too funny.

 

Cousins

Towards the end, Gavin got brave enough to go down the slide.  Ava not so much, I think because there was a waterfall at the top of the slide.

We hit up the arcade afterwards and KJ hit the jackpot!  Over 1,000 tickets!

Gymnastics Birthday Party

Ava was invited to a gymnastics birthday party. She had lots of fun playing on the big kid equipment.

Look at her go on the rope swing!  Such a big girl.

She had fun playing with Hunter, he's 3.

So funny how the kids gather around. They kept getting closer, and closer, and closer, lol!

This was Avas first piñata experience.  Look at her face!  She was SOO excited to hear candy was coming out!

I tried giving her a piece of cake with white icing.  Nope, she HAD to have the cupcake with blue icing.

Hooray for bubbles, and bubble machines!

Park Playdate

We had a fun visit with Chloe and Drake at the park.  I was just thinking that the last time we went to this park, the kids couldn't even get up the slide on their own.   

 

Ava absolutely LOVED this spinning ride.  She kept coming to me saying, "I need help" because she wanted me to spin it for her.  I'm surprised she didn't get sick she rode it so much!  She'd get dizzy and try to walk and collapse, it was funny. 

Sweet friends!

Ava is starting to become a little dare devil.  It's very hard not to be a "helicopter mom!"

Snackies

Oh Drake had fun to!  Chewing on mulch and twigs!!

A few other kids showed up at the park and they all climbed on the spinning ride!
