Park Playdate

We had a fun visit with Chloe and Drake at the park.  I was just thinking that the last time we went to this park, the kids couldn't even get up the slide on their own.   

 

Ava absolutely LOVED this spinning ride.  She kept coming to me saying, "I need help" because she wanted me to spin it for her.  I'm surprised she didn't get sick she rode it so much!  She'd get dizzy and try to walk and collapse, it was funny.

Ava is starting to become a little dare devil.  It's very hard not to be a "helicopter mom!"

Snackies

Oh Drake had fun to!  Chewing on mulch and twigs!!

Twirl

I got Ava a new dress and as soon as I put it on she started twirling. Too sweet. Love catching these little girly moments.

Easter Sunday

For Easter Sunday we headed to my parents to celebrate. Ava had a lot of fun with Gavin and was excited about her Easter basket. Her favorite was the pom poms!

Easter is usually the only time we end up getting a family picture!

Best Sisters

Ava is really close with Papaw.  Its very sweet.

Easter Egg Hunt

Ava was super excited about hunting for eggs this year.  She thought it was the best thing ever!

In one of her eggs was a ring that flipped open and had lip gloss in it.  She loved that.

Easter Eggs

Ava had fun helping me dye Easter Eggs. She like it so much she kept wanting to do it over and over. I secretly dumped the dye out and filled the bowls with water so she could play longer!

We used brown eggs this year, I think the colors turned out really pretty

MS Walk - Kansas City

Ava and I attended the MS Walk - Kansas City to support my friend and co-worker Chrissy. We had a fun time supporting a great cause.

Chrissy was diagnosed with MS at age 24.  Despite her challenges, she is one of the most positive and optimistic people I know.

 

The balloon guy made Ava a Nemo fish!  She loved it.

Getting her face painted for the first time.  This is as far as we got, lol.  She kept turning her head and wouldn't sit still.

I was surprised Ava liked the characters.  She was more excited about the pig, it took her a little while to warm up to the dinosaur.
