Chuck E Cheese's

My parents, sisters, and I took the kids to Chuck E Cheese. Talk about fun! Actually, I think the grownups had just as much fun, because it reminded us so much of when we were little!

Ava was a big fan of the carousel.  She rode it 3 times in a row.  So cute.

The rides sure have gotten more fun since I was little!  Ava and Gavin enjoyed all the games and rides.  However, on this visit they didn't like the Chuck E Cheese character that came out to greet the kids.

Like I said, the grown ups had fun too!  KJ racked up 500 tickets for us!

Crafts

Ava LOVES crafts.  Our house is starting to overflow with craft stuff!  Every time I ask her if she wants to do a craft project she says, "good idea mom!"

Her favorite by far is painting.  Here are some of her latest projects.

Pet Store

Just for fun we stopped in a pet store to look at the animals.

Big Monkey Business

Jon has a buddy with a daughter 1 month younger with Ava.  He gave us a call last weekend to set up a surprise play date!  The girls had a lot of fun.  We went to McDonalds for lunch and then headed to the "Big" Monkey Business.

Ava wasn't quite tall enough to make it up to the next level.  Dad to the rescue!  After she got up Ava yelled, "THANKS DAD!!"

Lately Ava has been obsessed with balls.  Throwing, playing catch, kicking, etc.!

Slam dunk!  Soon after this Jon had a line of kids wanting him to do the same thing!  HAHA!!

A couple notes: There is a very dramatic ending to Row Row Row Your Boat. This is because she is rowing her boat through "crocodile creek!" She learned this at school. Also, during Twinkle Twinkle Little Star she changes the ending. Something about a dragon roar (also learned at school).

We recently had a little taste of spring, too bad it snowed the next day!  We are so ready for nicer weather.
