Ava and Santa

Well, as you could see by the video,  it didn't go too well with Santa this year.

She was fine with him while he was singing songs.  We were optimistic and introduced her first.

But as soon as we set her down everything hit the fan

What?  Who are you?

Get me out of here now!

So then we gave her a break and tried again hoping Santa's big teddy bear would cheer her up.  Nope!  So I had to sit with her the 2nd time.

We did get a good laugh from the experience.  Hey, everyone needs at least one picture of their child screaming with Santa right?

Christmas Play Date

We had a wonderful Christmas Play Date this weekend. Way too many pictures to post so I put them in a video.  Hope you enjoy!

We had a cookie exchange, hot chocolate bar, crafts for the kids, make your own reindeer food, and of course SANTA!

Santa came and sang songs with the kids, recite "Twas The Night Before Christmas", took pictures, and handed out gifts. It was sooo much fun. Seeing the joy in the kids just about brought tears to my eyes!

IG Moments

Thanksgiving weekend, I finally took the plundge.  I got a smart phone.  Am I behind the times or what?  The reason I was holding out is because the cell phone bill was so low before, now it's jumped about $60 more a month.  But, the phone is fun and the cost worth it, I guess.

I've jumped on the Instagram wagon.  So every now and then I'm going to "phone dump" them into the blog.

So, here are my favorite IG moments last week.

Low Key Weekend

It's been busy lately so Ava and I decided to have a lazy frumpy weekend. Messy hair and comfy jammies all day long. Lounged around, watched cartoons, danced, and played. Feeling refreshed for the week to come!
