Romantic Fun
Today we are celebrating Valentines Day early to beat the crowds (and higher prices!). We are heading to a yummy wood fired steakhouse. Can't wait. Valentines is also the only day I can get Jonathan to agree to watch a romanic comedy! Tonight we are seeing "No Strings Attached." Anyone else doing anything special this weekend?

Cupid, Cocktails, and Coffee
It's been a while so I decided to host a Valentines themed party. Cupid, Cocktails, and Coffee.
Menu Included
Tomato Basil Bruschetta
Dates with goat cheese, almonds, balsamic vinegar, and honey
Cheesecake bites
Mini Tiramisu
Fresh fruits
Veggies with dip
Chocolate
I love my mini shot glasses from Pier One. They were perfect for my tiramisu shooters.
Cupid Cocktail! A big hit and no one guessed it had beer in it!
Favors were little containers with Organic Vanilla Sugar! Perfect to sprinkle on coffee, tea, fruits, or cereal.
Coffee station. I used instant packs of Star Bucks vanilla coffee and Columbian coffee
As always, it was a nice time with the girls. Stay tuned for my next party this spring.

A Sweet Surprise
Jonathan surprised me last Friday with this lovely diamond cross necklace.
His reason? Just because I'm such a wonderful wife. :)

Shrek
Jon and I saw Shrek The Musical on Friday. It was great!! Fun for kids and the adults. There was a little girl sitting in front of us, probably 2 years old, and she was mesmerised. The costumes were really creative. Donkey didn't quite meet my expectations but it's kind of hard to top Eddie Murphy. Overall, I would recommend.

Vacation!
Well, it's only January and my mind is already on vacation! I'm so excited because I just booked a trip with my mom to Catalina Island, CA for May. It looks like such a relaxing laid back getaway. The beach, harbor, pier, B&B, cute shops, cafes, gardens...Ahh can't wait.
