Slime
I took Ava to Toys R Us (which she calls "Leo's Toy Store" from the Charlie Brown movie!!) to get some friends birthday gifts. Of all the things in the store she wanted this little bucket of slime for herself. Well, thanks to YouTube she knew it "farted." LOL!

Superhero's
Ava loves superhero's just as much as princesses! So we thought she'd enjoy Marvel Universe LIVE. It was a stunt show with fighting, pyrotechnics, motorcycles, flying, etc. Her favorites were Captain America, Spider Man, and Hulk. She was clapping and cheering the superhero's on. I think this is one show Jon didn't mind going to, haha!
Another blinking toy!! Woo hoo! Notice Ava's ear plugs? Those were necessary, the show was LOUD!
Ava loved her face paint. She kept wanting to look at it in the mirror. She wasn't too happy when we had to take a bath that night!!

Sheels
We checked out the new Sheels store. It was pretty fun! I didn't tell them what was inside the store and when we walked in Ava yelled, "WOW! It's like a carnival!!" The kids loved the Ferris wheel, aquarium, and animal displays. Ava especially LOVED the bowling!!!

Science City
I took the day before Christmas Eve off and had planned on doing nothing, like vegging on the couch!! Well, that morning I got a message asking if I wanted to head back to Union Station to go to Science City. I thought, oh what the heck, might as well!
I was glad to go back because when we were there for the Holiday Express we spent so much time waiting in line we didn't get to do any of the other activities available. Like seeing the largest Christmas tree in KC, riding the train, and writing letters to Santa.
This was SO cool! We played with this stuff for quite a while. It's magnetite. In your hand it looks like black dust, but when you put it on the magnet it stands up and looks like a giant caterpillar! We loved playing with it.

SNOW!
Our weather
has been so warm this fall/winter I was wondering if we'd get any snow at all! Well, we got an ice/snow mixture and Avalyn couldn't have been more excited to go and play. I was glad we got some use out of her snow suit!
Snow Angel!
She wanted to taste it
She thought it was fun throwing snow balls at the back door!
