Painting

I've been trying to do some more arts and crafts with Avalyn, especially now that it's starting to get dark earlier and it's getting colder. We definitely need something to keep this little one busy. She had tons of fun painting with the paint brush and making hand prints.

Playing House With Grandma

When Grandma come over with Gavin the kids wanted her to come to their "house." So she spent most of her time under the table with the kids crawling over her or play sleeping, lol! Very cute.

This picture cracks me up.  Gavin has a cat toy that he's shaking to wake them up, lol.

Ava's Favorite Food

One of Ava's favorite snacks these days is peanut butter. She doesn't really like it on anything. I've tried sandwiches and using it as a dip for pretzels. She'd rather just eat it off a spoon!

So excited! We got our photo gallery today.

Baby Dolls

Our house is starting to be over taken by dolls! We have crying dolls, crawling dolls, talking dolls, and singing dolls.

Then there is this doll.  The doll with the dirty diapers, lol!

Yes, that is felt poo!  It also comes With felt pee, a diaper, and a box of wipes.

Ava doesn't really get it yet, but when her friends come over (the ones that are about a year older) they think it's funny!  Seeing their surprised expression for the first time is priceless!

Ava is a good mommy to her babies.  She feeds them, kisses them, cradles them, and takes them on walks around the house in the stroller.  It's really cute to see her interaction.

Wine & Painting

I recently had a girls night out and enjoyed some yummy appetizers, wine, and a painting class!

My good pals.  My friend Jana, in the middle, we've been friends for 27 YEARS!

 

We went to La Bodega and had a variety of delicious appetizers and sangria.

Next stop was Thirsty Palette for our class.  Each week they have a different theme for the painting.  Here's a picture of some of their previous classes.

If anyone is local I'd recommend the Thirsty Palette!  It was a lot of fun!

Play Food

Ava got this Melissa and Doug Velcro play food for her birthday. She really likes it, and is getting better at using the knife. When you cut through the velcro it actually kind of sounds like you are really cutting food. Pretty neat.

Motorcycle Helmet

Ava just decided one morning that she wanted to watch cartoons wearing dads motorcycle helmet!
