While in California we took a day trip to Napa Valley. While on the Wine Train we enjoyed lunch before stopping at an organic winery. It was a great experiences and beautiful views.
At the estate we learned the history of the winery, the importance of climate, received a tour, and learned about the 2 year process of making the wine. We also received 5 tastings (Pino, Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Cabernet, and Merlot) and received an education on how to taste the wine. It was a lot of fun. We also got complimentary estate wine glasses!
We also walked around Old Sacramento. It has a charming old time feel, right on the river, and has cobblestone roads. Lots of little gift shops, museums, tattoo parlors, and candy stores.

We traveled to Sacramento over the weekend to celebrate my friend Leah's wedding. Their wedding was on a restored riverboat hotel. They had the most casual wedding but it was SO them! They are just perfect for each other!
More traveling for us this weekend. A dear friend is getting married in Sacramento. The wedding is at this renovated riverboat hotel the Delta King! How unique.
Also on the agenda is a day trip to Napa. We'll have lunch on the wine train and stop at a winery for a tour and tasting. I've never been to Napa so I'm pretty excited. I don't think Jon's all that excited though. I told him to bring a book, lol.
